When they only lack three days for the beginning, Zandvoorde is ready for the great European event 2009.

On 24th of July the track was already prepared, with all the facilities ready for receive the competitions, because before the European Championship was celebrated the Flanders Grand Prix between 24th and 26th of July.

Because this event, a lot of skaters are already in the city and it was a great opportunity for try the venues for the European Championship.

Sabine Berg, Felix Rijhnen and Bart Swings, among others, are already trying the facilities where they could be candidates for fight for the medals in their categories.

On the other hand, Spain, France, England and Portugal will arrive to the city during these days and the candidate for get the European throne, Italy, will arrive today.

One of the absent selections this year is Estonia that the last year was in the competitions with four skaters in the European Championship of Denmark and Germany but that this season hasn’t still confirm assistance so we think that they won’t be participating.
