The Italian Giulia
Bongiorno was the winner in her category and her
team-mate Chiara Pignat got the bronze medal.
The silver medal was for the German, Laethisia
Schimek.
The rain came back
again just before Junior Men’s test and they had
postponed the races almost one hour. Italy got
finaly the gold medal in this test with Michael
Locci. The silver medal was for the French
Antione Belzanne and the bronze for the Belgian
Jore van den Bergue.
In Senior Ladies
Nicoletta Falcone dominated breaking the World
Wide Record and getting the gold medal. The
second position was for her teammate Erika
Zanetti followed by the German Jana Gegner who
got the bronze medal.
The last test of
time trial was for Senior Men where the Belgian
Wouter Hebbrecht was the winner. The silver
medal was for the French Nicolas Pelloquin and
the bronze for Andrea Peruzzeto (Italy).
After these
competitions of speed was the turn for the races
of Elimination, where the skaters of Junior
Ladies ran a total of 15.000 meters. In this
long race the Netherlander Irene Schouten was
the winner followed by Giuliana de Blasco and
Manon Kamminga who were second and third in an
exciting sprint.
Then was the
moment for the category of Junior Men where the
Italian Matteo Melis got one more gold medal for
his country. The Belgian Jore van den Bergue
arrived in second position followed by Martin
Dias (Portugal) who was third.
One more time the
rain came back and we couldn’t see the
competitions of the Senior category. The
organization has decided that they will be
celebrated on Sunday at the morning.
