The last season of the European Championship was celebrated in Denmark and Germany, and the countries which dominated were Italy and France.

The cities of Slagelse and Naestved in Denmark, received the categories of Cadet and Junior between 6th and 13th of July. One of the strongest candidates was Italy, which got 20 medals of gold, 26 of silver and 9 of bronze. The second and third position was for Germany and Belgium.

Days later, between 19^th and 26^th of July were the turn for the European Championship for the Senior category, that was celebrated in Gera (Germany). It was celebrated in excellent facilities for track and road, where the best skaters of Europe made exciting competitions. France was the winner followed by Italy.
