The European Championship finished with the test of
marathon |

With a circuit similar that in the
World Championship 2002 of Ostende, the city celebrated
today the competitions of the last day of races of this
European Championship 2009 of Speed Skating with the
test of marathon. Some of the most important streets of
the city must be cut for celebrate these test of
marathon of 42 kilometers. The first marathon was for
Junior Ladies. The test was really quiet without
attacks, only the Italian Giuliana de Blasio and the
Spanish Saray Narvaez tried to make an escape. When only
lacked five laps to go it was a big fall near the goal.

Championship of Circuit for all the categories of the
last weekend, the national selection is Reddy for the
European Championship 2009. The new national selector,
Garikoitz Lerga has already chosen the skaters who will
represent Spain during the days 29th to 8th
of August in the European Championship that this year
will be for the three categories.

After six years waiting, the World Inline Cup came back
to Spain and one more time the place choose for this
test was Pamplona. The Bayona Avenue was the circuit
chooses. This circuit is 1.200 meters long. Around 15.00
h. in the afternoon, the street was cut to the traffic
and the skaters began to try the venues for prepare the
test of marathon. At 16.00 h. the popular races were
celebrated.

After three days of competitions, the International Trophy
Three Tracks visited the cities of Pibrac, Valence d’Agen
and Gujan-Mestras like every year.
In this Edition, more than 1000 skaters decided be in this
international Trophy 2009 where we could see.
