- Colombia, the maximun selection of skating is already ready for World-wide

For five days ago, the municipality of Yopal, capital of the department of Casanare, was the place chosen by the Colombian Federation of Skating to celebrate the selective of skaters for the World-wide of Gijón.

With tests very varied of speed and long races, the 75 participant skaters, would look for a place within the 20 who would leave to be in the world tests.

In the category Junior Ladies, the selection will be compose for the speed skaters, Carolina Magaña y María Mendoza, with the long skaters, Luisa Aguadelo, Melisa Ramírez y Rommy Muñoz, that they will be working very hard to be in the highest of podiums of

the competitios of speed and long races.

In Junior Men, Pedro Causil and Sebastián Arce are both chose sprinters, with the long skaters, Oscar Cobo, Daniel Zapata y Carlos Pérez.

Jercy Puello and Jennifer Caicedo, will be the sprinters who will represent Colombia in category Senior Ladies, with the long skaters, Carolina Upegui, Brigyte Mendez and Liana Holguin.

Finally in Senior Men, the selection will be composed by the sprintes Andres Muñoz and Juan Nayib Tobon and the long skaters, Nelson Garzon, Jorge Cifuentes y Julian Arboleya.

Afther this selective great names of the world-wide skating they have remained outside the Colombian combined one, like the juniors ladies, Sara Vallejo and Vanesa Botero, in Senior ladies, Silvia Niño and Kelly Martinez; in the Senior Men the skaters who will be outside are, Camilo Orozco y Julian Rivera.

All the selected skaters, directed by Libardo Garcia, will begin their preparation for the World-wide Championship, that during days 24th to 26th of August will travel to Gijon.
