- France is already ready for Gijón 2008, and it will be in Spain with 17 skaters

In the last hours, France has gave the list of the skaters that will represent it in the World Championship of speed skating of Gijón 2008.

This selection was participing during the last week in the European Championship of senior category, where the French skaters was the best of the continent, because they got ten golds, nine silvers and three bronzes.

During this year, this selention is avancing of surprising way and furthermore it can be one of the best in the test of the World Championship of Gijón 2008; the last year was the 7th in Cali 2007 where it got one gold,

three silvers and two bronzes.

This selection has already been in Gijón at the begining of July, making training in the official facilities, and will arrive to Gijón in August for continue training.

In Junior Ladies, France will be representate for two skaters, Lucie Peruzzetto and Carine Taulbourdet. In Junior MEn, Nolan Bediaf, Elton de Sousa and Pierre Laurent are the skaters who will be in Gijón fighting for the medals.

Meanwhile, in the category of Senior Ladies, Laetitia Lebihan, Aurelie Duchemin, Justine Halbout and Cindy Etonno, will be the skaters who will put the things to the others skaters difficult in the fight for the medals and the titles of the World Championship.

Finally, in Senior Men, Yann Guyader and Alexis Contin will be the main stars of the competitions and they will be with Thomas Boucher, Julien Despaux, Florian Lefevre, Nicolas Pelloquin, Mathieu Boher and Julien Levrard.
