- The Italian Duggento won again the title of World-Wide Champion in 200meters time trial

From 17:00 hours in the afternoon, the city of Gijón became the first finals of the day with the races of 200meters Time Trial, where the twelve best times of each category were fighting for the medals.

Some minutes ago, the road of "Las Mestas" began with the finals of the day, where the protagonist  was the competition of 200meters Time Trial.

Because it were some technicians problems, some skaters of the Junior ladies category had to repeat the test, but finally the Italian skater, Giulia Bongiorno got the gold. The second place was for Victoria Rodríguez

from Argentina, and the bronze medals was for Mariah Richardson.

In the category of Junior men, the Australian Daniel Creig was the best with an advantage of 0,3 seconds than the Colombian Pedro Causil who got the silver and his partner Sebastián Arce.

The Colombian skaters, Jennifer Caicedo and Jercy Puello were the fastest in the test of 200meters Time Trial by the category of Senior ladie, and they got the gold and silver medal in the road of "Las Mestas". The bronze medal was the Italian, Nicoletta Falcone.

In the last test of speed of the day, the king of the speed, the Italian Gregory Duggento won the race, getting the world-wide gold. The silver was for the Venezuelan, Juan Jardine (bronze medal in the last World Championship), meanwhile the bronze was for the Belgium Wouter Hebbrecht.

Now are going to be celebrated the test of points for the Junior category and the races of elimination for the Senior skaters, with the test of 10.000meters and 20.000meters, for each one.
