In 1937, the world
championship took plake in Monza, Italy as an unofficial
championship. But years later, in 1996, the celebration of
the first official world championship took place in Mar de
Plata, Argentina.
The
competitions we celebrated during the month of April at
one of the most bigger avenues from the city known as
Peralta Ramos. There were many countries as Germany,
Spain, Italy, England, Belgium, New Zeland, Japan,
Colombia, USA, Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay.
During
the years, the races were changing, increasing the
quantity of countries, creating new and modern scenes from
that sport and improving the quality of each skater who
was practising inline speed skating.
Last
editions of the world championship were around fifty
countries registered, giving to this sport the greatest
moments as faster tracks, improved skaters and television
and radio broadcasting to all over the world.
Year to
year, world championships are having more experience and
marvelling the International Speed Skating.
