- In the past month in April, you were the winner of the first races of the German Inline Cup, how did you see that competition?

The race was good for me because it was my first race with my new team, Zepto. It was an important race for them also because there was a lot of journalist and tv reporters there. The organization was really professional.

- What did you feel in crossing the first one the goal?

It's always a nice feeling to win. This race was also more special because it was the first race of the seasson for me so it also gave me some confidence.

- Of more nearby way, in this month of July, in the marathon of Einsiedeln, you remained with the second plaza in the sprint with Andrés Muñoz.  Was very hard this test?

I was happy to be in the winning breakaway in Einsiedeln. So I worked a lot to make sure it would maintain the advantage over the main group. In the final kilometers I tried an attack because I know that it would be difficult to win Muñoz in the sprint, but it couldn't do it. I was satisfied with this result.

- These triumphs or good positions, ¿are they the result of the teamwork?

Normally yes, but in Einsiedeln I was alone, so I was more lucky. But normally in the marathons you have to rely and trust your team. It is impossible to follow every attack so you need to learn to skate good as a team.

- How do you see the maximum incorporation of Colombian skaters to the most important series of marathons of the world?

In the end it is positive for the sport. For have a world-sport you need the best skaters in the world. At the first races they were very aggressive, like in the worldchampionship test, but now they understand the marathon better and I think it will be good in the next years.

- Do you think to continue in Zepto Team the next seasson?

For sure. I will skate for Zepto. This year they start to get some good results with me, and Reyon Kay at the WIC in Wolvega. The team manager Jorg Dietrich is one of the best people in the world of skating and I really like to work with him, so it’s a good relationship.

- In the World Championship 2007 of Cali, Colombia.  In the long test you had medals. Do you think that this year will be able to be better?

Yes that's true, in New Zealand we receive support from the government if we obtain medals. Cali was good for me because I had good results, but I'm going to try to repeat again my action of 2006 and win again.

- Already we know that in this month of July, you will come to Gijón accompanied by Nicole Begg to try the installations.  What do you think about the city?

For sure we will spend most of the time at the track because that’s the main reason we come! But I have heard from some other skaters that Gijon is a nice city so maybe we can see something more. I hope that the weather will be nice.

- Have you ever been before in Spain?

No, this will be my first time in Spain. It's strange that I have not been before because I have been living in Europe now for 5 seassons.

- Do you want to say anymore to the interview for the people who read it in MundoPatin.Com?

I am really excited about coming to Gijon to race. It’s a big goal of my season and I am really looking forward to this.
