The decision appeared then that they make me a proposal in the World Championship of Cali, declaring me their interest to have a team in ladies for 2008. When they know the other skaters of the team, they make me to accept the proposal because they knew that we will be the strongest team and we will fight for the season.

- How many marathons have you win this year 2008?

Until now I have won five marathons: Zug, Rennes, Incheon, Suzhou and Weinfelden.

- In the ranking of the Wold Inline Cup 2008, until now you are the first with more than 200 points of advantage than the second who is your companion, the New Zealander, Nicole Begg, this separation in the points makes you feel more surely in the races, or you run also at 100%?

I feel surely, but also I always demand myself at 100% in all the races because always it must to give the best thing of themselves even the end and make the best possible for the team.

- Do you think that is correct the organization of the marathons?

Yes, I feel that the circuit is a big opportunity to get the professionalism in our sport, but I feel that the approach is not the best one, because it must to focus more publicity, to make the people know the skating and to try to deal with which the private company ties around the circuit. Thus we make bigger our sport.

- In this season 2008, there has been a great incorporation of South Americans skaters, Is that really good for the skating in South America?

Of course. Especially for us, is very important for can run in the WIC. It’s our way to follow then the World Championship, because that is the professionalism of our sport and it is remunerated economically, and that change our life style.

- In the previous year, in Cali 2007, you didn’t participated in the World Championship, Why?

That was because I had an injury two months before the selective in Colombia, I had a complete rupture of my quadrics in the right leg, that make me be far of my possibility of run in Cali.

- Recently time, it was celebrated in Yopal, Colombia, the selective for the World Championship of Gijón 2008. You were going to be in these tests, but in the last moment you decided to don’t stay, how was for you this situation?

Well, I focus me totally in the circuit of marathons. As the season advanced I knew that I could to finish in the TOP of the circuit, so this year I wanted to give my priority for the marathons, furthermore it was a new experience for me.

- Would you change something of the present speed skating? Do you think that they are using means correctly?

No. We need people who can focus our sport to be bigger.

There are more to explode here. The skating has the potential to be a big sport.

- Do you think that some day the skating could be an Olympic sport?

I hope yes, because it would be the fulfilled cycle of all sportsmen to run in these, and thus put the skating in the position where it must to be. I hope that our leader fight by this dream could be really and I hope that I have the necessary conditions for participate in them if I could.

- In September Gijón will be the soothes of the World Championship, Will you be here for following the competitions?

Of course, I’ll there living the emotions and the spectacle that is a World Championship.

- What are you going to do when you leave the skating? Will you continue tie?

In this moment, I have the opportunity of make something for our sport in our country. To have my club and my school of skating is a great personal satisfaction because I hope to give to these children all my knowledge and experiences, and with a great team of work make integral athletes and Why not? Champions in the World Championship. In the future I want to continue tie in this sport because I’m what I am in these moments’ thanks’ to this sport.

- We know that a lot of people who read the interviews, get to the best like reference, for that reason, as you are one of the best, What do you day to the smallest when they read the interview?

That they must to fight for their dreams, they should make what they like with a lot of love, responsibility and discipline. The training is the secret of the champions, and the medals are the prize of the sacrifice and the training.

Furthermore, they should to enjoy day to day and moment to moment what they make and they must to remember that the sport make us to be far from the evils and the vices that corrupt our society.

- Do you want to include something more to the interview for the people who will read it?
