Acaban de comenzar las pruebas clasificatorias de los 500 metros Sprint donde tan solo los primeros pasarán de ronda para poder llegar a las finales.

Tras la prueba masculina ya ha finalizado el intento de record mundial de los 300 metros Contra Reloj donde el neocelandés, Kalon Dobbin no pudo con el colombiano Andrés Muñoz. El tercer puesto fue para el español, Joseba Fernández. En femenino el podium fue para las colombianas con Jercy Puello, Estefanía Cuervo y Cecilia Baena.

Después de una prueba muy dura, el patinador colombiano del Rollerblade World, Diego Rosero se llevó la victoria tras imponerse al sprint al francés Yann Guyader (Powerslide) y al italiano Stefano Galliazzo (Alessi Powerslide).que fueron segundo y tercero.
